Greg Isaacs '83
The Gregory B. Isaacs Endowed Scholarship was established in 2018 to honor the memory of a godly man who exemplified the mission of Asbury in his work, his family life, and his commitment to an institution he loved.
Impact
A man of prayer and of character who pursued excellence through his work in business and accounting; Greg inspired and encouraged students and colleagues to always honor God. His commitment and love for Asbury University showed through his volunteer work with the Board of Trustees, with the Howard and Beverly Dayton School of Business, and with students. Greg was a committed volunteer and donor to many Asbury Projects. Living for Christ was the focus of his life.
The couple who established the endowed scholarship to honor Greg directly experienced Greg’s excellent professional abilities with high ethical standards based on his Christian worldview. They consulted with him for financial management and expertise, enjoyed over 10 years of fellowship through a weekly businessman’s Bible study, and interacted with him as a friend and brother in Christ.
It is the hope and goal that students receiving the Gregory B. Isaacs Endowed Scholarship will be inspired to follow Jesus and honor God in all their life pursuits.
